ABC online Mp3 link. Could this really be the whole story? If so, it’s strange and troubling.
Fogerty told me about this.
The Max bus service between Toowoomba and Brisbane shut down a couple of weeks ago after operating for a matter of months [link]. The story goes like this:
MacCafferty’s used to run the bus service between Toowoomba and Brisbane. It used to cost something like $16 one-way, as I remember [...]

From the SMH:
THE Treasurer, Peter Costello, has criticised “confused, mushy, misguided multiculturalism” and told Muslim immigrants to leave violent cultural baggage at the door.[Link]
Costello says we should adopt an American-style pledge of allegiance for people moving to the country. In The Australian:
Lambasting the spread of “mushy multiculturalism”, the Treasurer [...]
And he’s completely right [link]. It must be disorienting for Bush, not being the one taking the assinine position for a change.
Good analysis of the issue here: link.

I’ve been going through the extensions on the Firefox website, and would like to share the following three with you:
Unhide Passwords stops Firefox ‘hiding’ what you type in password fields. So instead of seeing asterisks, you see what you’re typing. It takes approximately 60 seconds less time to realise you’ve got Caps Lock [...]
Kerry Packer’s lavish, star-studded funeral, from the same director who brought you Crocodile Dundee (link).
Above: From the SMH. Below: From The Australian.
Look at them.
In a market-driven society like ours, the Adam Smith-ian idea is that self-interested individuals, acting only out of a desire for personal gain, benefit everyone. Stretching this logic to almost breaking [...]
